


HSTHI has also signed agreements of cooperation with following foreign schools and universities:

- Institute of Management and Economy in Iwano-Frankowsk (Ukraine),
- Higher School of Catering and Hotel Industry in Lwow (Ukraine),
- Belorussian State University of Economics in Minsk (Belorus),
- Institute of Contemporary Knowledge in Minsk (Belorus),
- State University of Economics in Tarnopol (Ukraine),
- Institute of Management of International Tourism - Russian International Academy of Tourism in Moscow (Russia),
- State University in Kaliningrad (Russia),
- Institute of Tourism, Economy and Law in Kiev (Ukraine).
Moreover, HSTHI started cooperation with the Association of Slovene Higher Vocational Colleges. The authorities of HSTHI received a delegation of 18 directors and vice-directors from 14 Slovene vocational colleges.
HSTHI is a full member of The Leading The Leading Hotel Schools in Europe EURHODIP.
In 2006, HSTHI participated in the project "Study in Poland", set up by the Conference of Rectors of Academic Schools in Poland and Educational Foundation "Perspektywy". HSTHI presented its educational offer at the International Educational Trade Fair in Beijing and Shanghai (China). HSTHI is a member of the Conference of Rectors of Vocational Schools in Poland which is a partner of the project "Study in Poland". The main aim of this project is to integrate the activities of schools and other institutions interested in internationalization of Polish higher education, as well as to promote Polish higher schools and the possibilities for foreigners to study in Poland.
To promote the educational offer abroad and to establish the relationships with international partners, HSTHI participated in Economic Missions to Canada and Spain organized by the Polish Chamber of Commerce. In Spain the representatives of HSTHI visited: The Escola Universitaria d'Hoteleria i Turisme CETT and CETA University College of Tourism in Barcelona, participated in business meetings with representatives of Centre of Economics and Trade Studies CECO, Travel Office Polonia Tour and Consulting Group ALLA.
As regards the organization of internships abroad, HSTHI cooperates with many different institutions. Internships organized by HSTHI in Sweden, Germany and France are very popular with students. Individually organized internships in Great Britain, Germany, United States of America, France, Greece, Spain, Italy and Cyprus are popular as well.
Internships in Sweden have been organized since 2002. Students train in three hotels. Hotel Radisson SAS Ronneby Brunn in Sweden is the first one, located near Ronneby (25 km from Karlskrona) in the park which achieved the first prize in the competition for the finest Sweden's park and the fifth position in the competition for the finest park of the world. The next two hotels: Aston and Conrad are situated in Karlskrona.
To organize internships in Germany, HSTHI cooperates with the Federal Employment Agency in Bonn.
In 2006 the authorities also signed an agreement with the Clair Service Hotellerie in Paris enabling our students to do their internships in one of many different hotels in France.
HSTHI cooperates with offices organizing internships in Greece and Cyprus.
In 2007 HSTHI participated as a partner of the training company "Jans Consulting" in the project: "Tourism animator: new competences in the service of tourist traffic" financed by the Leonardo da Vinci Program.
In may 2008 the European Commision admitted to the Higher School of Tourism and Hotel Industry in Gdansk extended Erasmus University Charter within Erasmus Programme (extended Erasmus University Charter-249628-IC-1-2008-1PL-ERASMUS-EUCX-1), that enables students to study or have their internships in another country, as well as it facilitates teaching staff mobility.
