About School

The Higher School of Tourism and Hotel Industry in Gdansk was established in 1996 by the Minister of Education (no. DSW-3-0145/TBN/96, dated January 5, 1996). The school was registered by the Ministry of Education (MEN) on June 24, 1996 under the registration number 88.

On August 20 2001, by virtue of the decision of the Minister of National Education (no. DSW-2-0145-424/ TBM/2001), the school obtained a license for running Masters programs in the field of tourism and recreation.

The founder of the Higher School of Tourism and Hotel Industry is 'Uczelnia' Ltd. The school is a precursory non-state owned higher education institution in Northern Poland, preparing personnel for tourism and self-governmental economy as well as trade and services.
