The Inaugural Ceremony of the Academic Year 2013/2014 took place on the 2nd of October
at the Academy of Tourism and Hotel Management in Gdansk.
In the ceremony participated guests from the academic and business world within the Pomeranian voivodeship.
The inaugural lecture "The role of the Gdansk Lech Walesa Airport in the handling of air traffic” was delivered by the Chairman of the Board of the Gdansk Lech Walesa Airport Ltd. Mr Tomasz Kloskowski.

We are pleased to announce that the Academy of Tourism and Hotel Management in Gdansk has received the Amber Compass Award in the contest for the best promotion of tourism in Pomeranian voivodeship in 2012 in the category of scientific paper for publication of the International Student Tourism Forum 2012 "EURO 2012 Poland - Ukraine. Organizational and economic aspects".
The Academy of Tourism and Hotel Management in Gdansk is launching in the academic year 2013/2014 a new form of educational system E-learning - regular on-line education making use of a special platform. 60% of classes will be conducted with the use of e-learning platform and 40% by direct contact with students (regular classes). Three sessions, each lasting a few days, are planned in September, February and June.
We would like to invite you to join us for an intensive 2 week long SUMMER COURSES (July and August 2013) of Polish! These intensive group courses are for those who would like to spend more time learning Polish and have a lot of fun at the same time.
The lectures will be provided by highly qualified Polish teachers, with experience in teaching foreigners.

Students' International Tourism Club invites all the students for St. Andrew's Day Party on 30th of November at 5.30-7.30 p.m. in the Student's Club of the Academy of Tourism and Hotel Industry in Gdank.
We also introduce the history of St. Andrew's Day tradition prepared by a member of the Students' International Tourism Club's (pdf).
The Academy of Tourism and Hotel Management in Gdansk, Polmlek Group, The Gniew Castle (Zamek Gniew) Ltd and ACADEMIA EUROPA NOSTRA are jointly organizing an international scientific conference on the role of castles and fortresses in the development of contemporary tourism.
The Conference under the auspices of The Marshal of Pomeranian Province - Mieczysław Struk and Pomeranian Governor - Ryszard Stachurski will be held at The Gniew Castle Ltd on 6-7 of December 2012.
